Your Role: Medior Golang Developer Amsterdam
As a Medior Golang Developer in Amsterdam, you will collaborate closely with one of the technical founders to make this product a global success. You can take ownership of a large part of the backend by contributing to an action-packed roadmap. You’ll tackle complex business challenges, keeping your technical expertise engaged for years to come.
Here, you’ll work with a fresh codebase and deploy twice daily through a fully automated pipeline. Joining now means stepping into an exciting phase of growth with a strong product-market fit. You’ll contribute to challenges like making the product white-label, intelligent pricing mechanisms, building a quote engine, and exploring AI integration possibilities.
You’ll operate in a modern, event-driven architecture with services running on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, ensuring a cutting-edge engineering environment.
What Is Required?
- medior-level backend development experience
- 2+ years of professional Golang experience across multiple environments
- Completed technical BSc or MSc (or equivalent working and thinking level)
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain your ideas clearly
- Experience with containerization
- A clean coding mindset and willingness to own and run your code
- Open, honest, pragmatic, and clear in your communication
- Experience in a modern cloud environment
- Experience with queuing technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ is a nice to have
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures is a nice to have
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (a plus)
