Your Job: Principal AWS Cloud Engineer Den Haag
As a Principal AWS Cloud Engineer Den Haag, you and your team are the key figures at clients to design, build and automate the most challenging mission critical AWS environments of scale. You automate everything under the sun and help transfer knowledge. Your work leads to direct efficiency, cost reduction and a drastic decrease in their work pressure. To top it off, you help drive down their carbon footprint by implementing technical improvements, cost optimization, and lifecycle management.
Together, you will get to bite down on some of the most stringent requirements, help formulate a vision, and drive success with a 99.99% uptime and intense scaling and availability. You are the technical conscience and confidant for your client and their team(s), where you have an impact on everything from code reviews, delivery automation, pair programming, serverless, and containerization.
On Friday you come together in the office to share valuable client insights, cases, trends and really enjoy each other.
What is Required?
- 6+ years of professional Cloud Engineering experience
- 4+ years of hands on AWS Cloud Engineering experience within mission critical, scalable, and distributed environments, running at the core of the business (downtime is not an option)
- You have designed, build and automated mission critical enterprise grade systems
- You have a background in operations/system engineering
- Good communicator and emotionally intelligent
- You have an automate everything mindset!
- You enjoy helping other colleagues be better
- Solid experience with IaC and relevant modern tooling like Terraform
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability
- Solid Linux experience
- Experience building CI/CD systems
- Experience with DevSecOps is a big plus
