Your role: Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Rotterdam
As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Rotterdam, you will be the right hand to the CTO and have one of the most impactful roles in the company. You will take full ownership of the further development of their mission-critical AWS platform (fully CI/CD automated and based on IaC/Terraform), powering the core of their platform!
You will get to work with open source software like Kafka, Cassandra and Kubernetes to maximize performance, drive auto-scaling, collaborate with different stakeholders within the company, and help shape the culture, tech stack and methodologies of this quickly growing global operating tech company. Working here means that no day is the same and you’re always working on non-trivial challenges that really make you think!

What is needed?
- +6 years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
- 4+ years of professional experience within modern cloud environments
- solid experience with AWS infrastructure, networking and security
- Professional experience with containerization and setting up, running, and troubleshooting Kubernetes
- A strong engineering mindset and solid communicator
- Solid experience managing a production stack
- Solid experience with Linux, shell, and bash
- Experience with Python is a plus
- A completed Technical Bachelor’s is a big plus
- Experience running NoSQL (Cassandra) and Kafka is a big advantage
