Your role: Senior Azure Cloud Engineer Amsterdam
As Senior Azure Cloud Engineer Amsterdam you play a key role within the infrastructure team, as you and your colleagues get to lay the foundation powering the further global expansion of the company. You will get to improve logging, further terraform automation, further professionalize monitoring, improve network architecture and further develop CI/CD pipelines.
All while dealing with software architecture, security best practices, cloud infrastructure development and automation, networking (DNS, VPN, firewalls, reverse proxies) and (bash) scripting, managing an app-gateway and 7 Kubernetes clusters. As Senior Azure Cloud Engineer Amsterdam you get the help evolve their tech stack for the coming year, ensuring your cloud setup is resilient, highly available and scalable for global expansion.

What’s Required?
- 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and/or Cloud Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience in a modern Azure Cloud environment.
- As a senior, you can clearly articulate your ideas and effectively convey your vision to colleagues.
- Professional experience in setting up, running, and troubleshooting Kubernetes, experience with Helm charts.
- Professional experience with Terraform (IaC), within an environment with many dependencies.
- Experience with Linux and bash.
- Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK), Prometheus, Grafana is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Git is a plus.
- Experience with networking is a bonus
- Experience with database migrations is a plus
- Technical BSc or MSc education is a plus.
