Your role: Senior Backend Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Backend Amsterdam, you’ll be responsible for building scalable software solutions that directly improve the efficiency of healthcare. You’ll focus on transforming complex data into practical applications for healthcare providers, leveraging modern technologies like Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, Terraform, and Kafka (Do you not know Kotlin yet, no problem! You can learn it on the spot).
You’ll have the opportunity to work on engineering concepts that solve complex problems, enabling you to grow as an engineer while making a daily impact on people’s lives.
What is required?
- At least 6 years of relevant software engineering experience with Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Kafka and Terraform is a bonus
- A completed technical BSc, MSc, or PhD
- Willingness to visit clients with the Randstad once per week
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
What is offered?
- Salary between €75.000 and €95.000 gross per year, based on knowledge and experience
- Work 32, 36, or 40 hours per week
- Option to work 2 days from home per week
