Your role: Senior Backend Engineer, Amsterdam Golang
As a Senior Backend Engineer, Amsterdam Golang, you will get to play a fundamental part in the creation of innovative financial products that will transform trading markets. Some systems are built, some are still in the first demo phase. So there is still a lot you can help with!
As one of the most experienced and key players, you will be part of one of the tight-knit development teams where you get to work on designing and optimizing backend services that handle real-time financial data with low latency and high throughput.
You will be pivotal in enhancing the platform’s scalability and reliability by implementing auto-scaling, load balancing, and redundancy strategies and leveraging distributed systems and cryptographic knowledge.

What is required?
- 7+ years of professional backend development experience
- Solid experience with heavily distributed backend services and asynchronous communication
- Good experience with databases and message queuing techniques
- Experience working for a start-up or scale-up
- Proactive nature and a solid eye for detail
- Experience with capital global markets is a plus
- Experience with GCP and/or Kubernetes is a plus
What is offered?
- Between €95,000 and €120,000 gross per year, based on experience and impact
