Your Role: Senior Backend Typescript Engineer Amsterdam
As a Senior Backend Typescript Engineer Amsterdam, you will make a huge impact in helping millions of sick people in Europe. Due to the explosive demand for their product, there are significant challenges in scalability, performance, and optimization. Additionally, since you will be dealing with millions of personal data, security and testing are of utmost importance, making the technical complexity even more intriguing!
As the number of concurrent users is growing rapidly, they are making the transition to an event-driven architecture, and you can play a key role in this! Furthermore, you can dive into complex algorithms, build brand-new microservices and features, and add value within Cloud/DevOps. What is required?
- 4+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Professional experience with Node.JS/Typescript
- Worked with Public Cloud within a modern Microservices environment
- Knowledge of architecture and integrations and an opinion on quality software
- A technical bachelor’s and/or master’s degree or a comparable level of work and thinking • Experience with scalability and security is a plus
- Experience in a start/scale-up environment is a plus
- Experience with architecture, design, and mentoring is a plus
- Experience with GCP, DevOps, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation are pluses
- Experience with algorithms within a complex business domain is a plus
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design are pluses
