Your role: Senior Front end Developer Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Front end Developer Amsterdam you will work in a team of highly experienced engineers (BE/FE/FS) and you will become the important Front end factor of success! There is a new scalable platform that is still in its POC phase. Thus, the pipelines and Front end architecture have been designed, and it is now time to build everything without legacy with React, Typescript, and all modern Front end tools you can think of. The CTO of this organization was one of the first I spoke to who said that nowadays, the Front end can be as complex and sophisticated as the backend (perhaps more complex!)

Career opportunities
This sustainable tech scale-up is in a transition phase and will grow again next year. There are therefore opportunities to grow both more T-shaped or to a more managerial (Tech Lead/Architect) role. As a senior, you may therefore be able to smoothly grow to Lead or Architect, if you don’t want that then Principal. If you want to develop more backend or cloud issues, this is also strongly encouraged and you can do more Full Stack (end2end responsibility).
What is being asked?
- 4+ years of experience in professional software development
- Strong (senior) experience with modern JavaScript fundamentals, React, TypeScript (NextJS)
- Knowledge of micro Frontends is a plus
- Experiences with scalable product environments is nice to have
- Taking ownership of what you build, being able to explain the logic
- a Bachelor or Master, such as Computer Science is a big advantage
