Your Role: Senior Frontend Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Frontend Developer in Amsterdam, you will work in one of the teams responsible for one of the market-leading SaaS products of this tech-driven company. You’ll be given considerable responsibility with the multidisciplinary team, where you’ll help modernize the tech culture and environment and lead the migration to React/TypeScript. You’ll collaborate closely with the Product Owner and the Frontend Chapter Team. Together with motivated frontend engineers, you’ll determine the course of the frontend.
You’ll work mainly with TypeScript, React, CI/CD, GraphQL, Unit Testing, Storybook, and modern JS tools, bearing in mind that the stack and architecture are not yet set in stone, leaving much room for input, A/B testing, and hypotheses.

This company has six development teams, and as a Senior Frontend Developer, there’s potential for growth in the future! Internally, there are also opportunities to switch between different teams after some time.
Additionally, there’s a chance to broaden your skills (if desired) and work more full-stack, including Kubernetes and Cloud (AWS). This way, you’ll always be challenged technically and develop yourself in any direction you wish!
Requirements
- 6+ years track record in Frontend (preferably at scale)
- 6+ years of experience in building SPAs in JavaScript
- Strong in TypeScript and React (or Vue) in production
- Takes responsibility and ownership
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Experience with SaaS products is a big plus
- Experience with React migrations is a big plus
- Experience with CI/CD & Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
