Your Role: Senior Golang Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Golang Developer in Amsterdam, you will collaborate closely with one of the technical founders, taking ownership of the backend and contributing to an action-packed roadmap. You’ll tackle complex business challenges, keeping your technical expertise engaged for years to come.
This role offers the chance to make the backend “your baby,” as the founders shift more into management. Leadership growth opportunities are also on the horizon, as your work helps further the platform’s success.
You’ll operate in a modern, event-driven architecture with services running on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, ensuring a cutting-edge engineering environment.
What Is Required?
- Senior-level backend development experience
- 5+ years of professional Golang experience across multiple environments
- Proficiency in architecture and design best practices
- Experience with queuing technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Completed technical BSc or MSc (or equivalent working and thinking level)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain your ideas clearly
- Experience with containerization
- A clean coding mindset and willingness to own and run your code
- Open, honest, pragmatic, and clear in your communication
- Experience in a modern cloud environment
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (a plus)
