Your job: Senior Java Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Java Developer Amsterdam, you’re in for a treat! You and the CTO are in charge of redesigning the architecture and the stack so that the product can scale for billions of end-users!
As an experienced Java Developer, you get the opportunity to orientate yourself broadly here. Here you can tackle non-trivial engineering challenges such as designing scalable microservices architectures, improving performance, CI/CD automation, cloud development, and search engine development. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gradually expand the team and move towards the role of a tech lead. You can continuously challenge yourself and therefore never have a dull day!
The impact you can have is enormous! In addition, you work very closely with very smart academics such as educators, data scientists, and developers in the field of child/computer interaction and ML.
What is being asked?
- From 4+ years of professional Java backend development experience
- Professional experience with Spring Boot
- Technical HBO or WO work and thinking level
- Good product mindset
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with Cloud such as AWS, Google, Azure is a plus
- Experience within a scale-up is a plus
