Your Role: Senior Node Engineer – Utrecht
As a Senior Node Engineer, you’ll help build the foundation of the embedded finance platform: the integration layer and SDK used by clients to develop their own products. You’ll work on scalable backend systems that make it possible to configure smart money-routing rules, savings automations, or payroll flows—within minutes.
You’ll help define the SDK architecture, optimizing for how developers love to integrate. You’ll work end-to-end on a product used by other engineers—so developer experience is just as important as performance. That’s real impact, and you’ll be working with people who care about code the same way you do.

What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Proven professional experience with React (Native)
- Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS Lambda, microservices)
- A polyglot, startup-minded problem-solver
- A completed technical bachelor’s or master’s degree is a plus
- Experience or interest in architecture, scalability, and building developer tools / SDKs is a plus
- Experience in start-up or scale-up environments is a plus
- Experience with event-driven systems is a plus
