This in Rijswijk based tech scale-up is in the very exciting position of working on a product suite that is already in demand by very large clients throughout Europe. Based on (pure FP) Scala, true agile, DDD and reactive programming they are building a brand new way for millions of consumers to act and do business over any digital touchpoint. Your role: Senior Scala Developer Rijswijk
In your role Senior Scala Developer Rijswijk you are joining at the right time as you will get to help mature the product, with many different applications by using pure functional Scala (catz). Together with your very experienced and passionate FP/Scala colleagues, you will build the product so it can achieve its amazing potential and make it scale for millions.
As a lot of work still needs to be done you will be involved in architecture, design and expanding the various product lines. As while keeping track of resilience, performance and security. You will get to get professional experience with DDD and chip in modelling their complex domain. If you like to be mentally challenged this is definitely for you!
What is required?
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Professional experience with Scala and a passion for functional programming
- Experience working within a microservices architecture
- A quality mindset: (CI, proper testing, etc)
- Experience with Catz or similar would be a plus
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL is a big plus
- Experience with Cloud is a big plus
- Experience with Kafka is a big plus
What is offered?
- Between € 70.000 and € 85.000 gross per year based on 40 hours
