Your Role: Data Engineer Utrecht
As a Data Engineer Utrecht, you will join a highly skilled and experienced cross-functional team of passionate engineers. Naturally, you will collaborate closely with other full-stack developers. You and your team will tackle various big data challenges, focusing on their highly available and distributed systems. Additionally, you will contribute to the backend, ensuring maximum impact!
Here, you will work at the intersection of backend and data engineering: building scalable data processing systems, optimizing APIs for data access, and developing reliable event-driven architectures.
A recent challenge? Scaling a distributed data processing system that analyzes real-time energy data and makes decisions within milliseconds.
What is Required?
- A technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., Computer Science or A.I.)
- At least 3 years of professional Data Engineering experience
- Experience in backend development is a plus
- Experience with Python and/or Airflow
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, and/or Scala is a major plus
- Experience with Kafka is a plus
- Experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus
What is Offered?
- Salary up to €80.000 depending on knowledge and experience
