Your Role: Senior Java Developer Rotterdam
As a Senior Java Developer in Rotterdam, you, alongside the CTO and your elite engineering squad, will take full ownership of the continued development of their advanced high-load SaaS platform. You will tackle the most complex engineering puzzles related to real-time event streaming, load forecasting, REST APIs, scaling, and more. No two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to work across a broad scope, allowing you to continuously learn.
Additionally, you will work with open-source technologies such as Java, Kafka, Cassandra, and Kubernetes/AWS to maximize performance, drive scaling, collaborate with various stakeholders across the company, and help shape the culture, tech stack, and methodologies of this fast-growing, global tech company. What is being asked?
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend engineering
- Professional experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala
- Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka is a plus
