Your Role: JVM Software Engineer Amsterdam

As a JVM Software Engineer Amsterdam, you’ll immediately join greenfield projects that require scalable, maintainable, and business-critical solutions. You’ll be involved in every phase, from intake and architecture to implementation and handover.

In your first year, you’ll be paired 1-on-1 with a senior engineer who will personally mentor you. You’ll learn how to make smart architectural decisions, balance quality with impact, and collaborate closely with people who speak at top-tier tech conferences.

You’ll work in a polyglot environment, using languages like Java, Kotlin, Scala, TypeScript, and Go.You’ll also explore cutting-edge cutting-edge technologies- generative AI, microservices and event sourcing—and learn how to leverage them to move businesses forward.

What You’ll Bring?

4+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Scala, TypeScript and/or Go.
A polyglot mindset: you use the right tool for the job.
Clear communication, fast learning, and openness to feedback.
A technical degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent experience.
Experience with unit testing and, ideally with containerization and microservices.
A team player attitude and growth mindset.

What You’ll Get?

€60,000 – €75,000 annual salary, based on experience.
+ €11,160 mobility allowance OR a lease car
5% year-end bonus on top of your salary.
Permanent contract from day one.
